This POLY-X web is a hard, yet very open non woven abrasive. They are superb for cleaning operations and the removal of rust , scale etc, and soft finishes such as paint which would clog up an ordinary disc. They are selective in their abrasion, and are comparatively gentle with the surface you are cleaning. Their button mount is compatible with the Roloc holder. To get the best life out of these discs, try to use them flat rather than end on, they will remove paint from metal very quickly and economically this way.
